Shooting Star Ornament, Made by Refugees - UN Refugee Agency

Crafted by Malian refugees living in Burkina Faso. This star is a shining example of the metalworking skills of Tuareg artisans. For these nomadic pastoralists, who traditionally live in the Sahara Desert, stars in the night sky are navigational tools.

Each ornament is individually packaged and ready for gift-giving in a MADE51 box, complete with an artisan story card.
