Although we have adopted the term here in the west to mean spiced tea, ‘Chai’ actually just means ‘tea.’ JusTea® African Chai is spiced with a unique bouquet of cloves, cinnamon, fennel and rose petals. Sweet and spicy with notes of licorice root and cloves, medium-caffeine African chai is totally different from a spicy Indian Masala Chai and has been known to make chai devotees rethink how they drink their chai! Also delicious as an iced tea!

JusTea is dedicated to maintaining the whole tea leaf rather than the normal maceration which destroys much of the leaf’s natural complexities and depth. This allows the tea to be steeped multiple times, retaining the full flavor profile that whole leaf tea offers.

Each 115g tin includes a hand-carved wooden spoon and makes about 40 cups or when re-steeping, 80 cups. A recyclable refill pouch is now also available. Steeping Instructions: 1 teaspoon of tea per cup of 205°F water for 3-5 mins.
