Inspired by the spicy South African relish known as chakalaka, Soweto Chakalaka salt blends the flavors of coriander, cumin, garlic, pepper, fennel, cinnamon, ginger, onion, chili, cloves, mustard, fenugreek, bay leaves, turmeric oil, curry leaves and ginger oil. A natural pairing with vegetables--stir fried, baked, steamed grilled, fried or stewed--Soweto Chakalaka can also be used to give potatoes a major flavor boost. Carefully assembled small batches are presented with beautifully adorned packaging that tells how each spice blend was inspired. Fresh flavor is released with every twist of the grinder and the spices can be used in Uvuka's collection of recipes.
Size: 1.59 oz.
