These freestanding sculptures are made from discarded flip flops that have been hand-formed, carved, and cemented together by artisans in Kenya.
Every year, ocean tides bring thousands of flip flops from all over the world to the shores of the East African coast, creating an environmental disaster for marine and beach life. Residents and artisans make the most out of this situation by transforming the foam into safari sculptures.
Each sculpture is one-of-a-kind and designs will vary. Measures 5"L x 2"W x 3"T. Size may vary slightly.
