This beautiful accent table is hand carved from a single piece of tweneboa wood by artisans in Ghana, then stained with a deep black finish. Tweneboa wood is used extensively for crafting drums. The Ashanti hold native trees in sacred regard, and traditionally entreat a tree's spirit before felling.

As each handcrafted item table is carved from a single piece of wood, filled cracks and variations in grain add to each piece’s integrity and uniqueness.
