This functional hand-carved cup, created by artisans in Mozambique with sustainably harvested sandalwood, is anything but just utilitarian! Using fragrant sandalwood, artisans incorporate the inner bark to add texture to the beautiful sculpture's design. The rural women carved into the back of the cup are adorned with head wraps of colorful kitenge cloth.
The holder retains the rich fragrance of the sustainably harvested sandalwood.
