Hand-carved from soapstone in Kenya, then dyed vibrant colors with etched details, these adorable little birds will add a fun decorative touch in the home or as gifts.

Soapstone is mined in Kisii county in southwestern Kenya. We work with three different artisan groups in and around Nairobi who carve, polish and paint the stone to create beautiful pieces.
