In the rural Kenyan countryside around the city of Kitui, women specialize in weaving the tough fibers of the agave sisalana plant. Sisal's spiky leaf clusters erupt from a dry landscape and often requires long journeys to gather. Once woven, these baskets are sold to local and international markets. Singing, dancing, and chatting make weaving for export an enjoyable social event!

These luxe throws are woven by artisans using cotton grown and spun in Ethiopia. The weaving process creates sumptuously soft, multi-tonal cotton with handspun texture. Each throw is finished with a hand-sewn center seam and hand-knotted fringe on each end. The Harvest Moon colorway features warm, earthy tones and neutrals.

Natural materials such as leaves, flowers, and coffee, along with textile dyes are used to produce each color. The environmentally friendly dyes are both AZO free and REACH certified.

Throw is made with 100% Ethiopian cotton and measures approximately 72"L x 47"W. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, some variation may occur.

Colorful oil drums are transformed into this large beautiful female elephant for the home and garden by Zimbabwean sculptors. Each sculpture is finished with varnish to protect against the elements. However, some weathering should be expected if the sculpture is exposed to the elements over a long period of time. Designs will varyâ and each elephant is unique and has its own personality.

These limited edition elephant sculptures range in size from approximately 24"L x 12"W x 19"T, up to 30"L x 14"W to 22"T.

These small sculptures are often combined on pallets with larger oil drum sculptures. Pallets can hold multiple sculptures for the same price as a single sculpture on a pallet.
