These fanciful wooden salad servers are hand-carved from sustainably sourced mahogany and feature detailed zebras on the each end of each handle.

To care for these lovely serving pieces, hand-wash in warm water. Each measures 12" L x 3.25"W x 0.75"T. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, slight variation may occur.

About the Artisans:

Kenya is among Africa's leading nations for the sustainable growth and harvesting of hardwoods for the furniture, musical instruments, and handicraft. With large, carefully managed wood plantations dedicated to producing for these high-volume industries, Kenya's natural forests are now at a lowered risk of deforestation.

These freestanding African sculptures are all welded in Kenya by metal artists using recycled oil drums and scrap metal. Each elephant is handcrafted from the ground up and is one-of-a-kind, with a unique personality. Trunk position varies.

The sculptures can be displayed inside or outside of the home. Due to the handcrafted nature of this sculpture, size will vary slightly.

Moses and his small workshop of craftsmen build their own welding machines out of copper coil, tape, steel rod, and a sheet metal housing in order to create these spectacular metal works of art. Moses began his artistic career making furniture, but quickly switched to sculpture after an interested European buyer created a demand for his works abroad.

These hand-carved wooden elephant sculptures add the earthy, exotic feel of safari lodge decor to your home. These wall mounts are carved from jacaranda in Kenya using bone as tusks, then dyed to a rich deep brown with a leather hanging strap affixed to the back.

Hand-knit from naturally-dyed spun wool

These jumbo stuffed elephants are hand-knit from naturally-dyed spun wool. Featuring easy to grab limbs, tail and tusks, and sewn facial features, these stuffed animals are a family favorite.

Each elephant is hand-knit by a Kenyan women's cooperative called Kenana Knitters. Due to the hand-crafted nature of this item, some variation is expected. Fair trade.
