These baskets are sourced from the Collaborative Craft Project, a group in Zimbabwe working with local expert weavers and specializing in natural and sustainable materials. Sisal fibers are extracted from the agave sisalana plant and are hand-dyed to create beautiful colors. The dyes are all natural and sourced from trees native to Zimbabwe. Leaves from the Umdwada tree create black dye, Uchane leaves create yellow, Isinga roots and Umhlahlampethu leaves create brown, and other organic matter creates additional earth tones.

These large, soft pillows from Le Ndomo in Mali feature handmade cotton mudcloth and include a pillow insert. Intricate line designs in an expanding square pattern are hand-dyed.

The pillows are finished on the backside in a foldover enclosure. The cover measures 18"x 18" and insert measures 20" x 20". Natural cotton that is carded, spun, woven and dyed by hand may include variations in color and texture. This is an expected feature of handmade cloth.

Care: (Remove pillow insert) Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, when needed, line dry, iron on cotton setting.

These luxurious throws are woven by artisans using cotton grown and spun in Ethiopia. The weaving process creates sumptuously soft, multi-tonal cotton with handspun texture. Each throw is finished with a hand-sewn center seam and hand-knotted fringe on each end.

Delightful as a wrap or a throw blanket, the New Moon colorway features cool grays and a contrasting red center seam.

Natural materials such as leaves, flowers, and coffee, along with textile dyes are used to produce each color. The environmentally friendly dyes are both AZO free and REACH certified.

Throw is made with 100% Ethiopian cotton and measures approximately 72"L x 47"W. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, some variation may occur.
