Einstein Albert Scalloped Bowl with Servers

  • World-famous artist Einstein Albert and his co-op of Haitian artisans hand-carve these highly coveted bowls from the obeche tree, a fast-growing and sustainable wood grown on Albert's family plantation.

Hand-carved from a single piece of wood, the bowls feature a gently scalloped shape and are finished with a rich stain that highlights that natural coloration of the wood. Filled and sanded repeatedly by multiple artisans, each bowl is a buttery smooth work of art.

    Includes servers. Bowl measures 14"D x 6"H.

  • Einstein Albert heads one of Haiti's most successful artisan coalitions. Following in his father's footsteps, Albert grows sustainable trees that mature in just 7 years. Albert teaches and oversees disabled and/or disadvantaged artisans from over 300 families create some of the world's most coveted kitchenware and jewelry using sustainably grown wood.
